Dip in the Road, Waringstown now fixed
Upper Bann MP, Carla Lockhart is pleased that the long-standing dip in the road from Lurgan to Waringstown has been successfully fixed. This improvement comes after extensive lobbying efforts to ensure a long-term solution to the issue.

Carla Lockhart, MP, commented, "Anyone who has driven from Lurgan to Waringstown will have noticed the dip in the road. I have had numerous complaints from drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. I am delighted to share the good news that this long-running problem has now been resolved! DFI Roads addressed the issue by fixing the broken culvert under the road and resurfacing the area to bring the road level up to the correct standard.”
This repair marks a significant improvement in road safety and driving conditions for local residents and commuters. "I want to extend my thanks to DFI for their efforts in making this repair possible," Carla added.
This achievement was also supported by local representatives Cllr Mark Baxter and Cllr Tim McClelland, who have worked collaboratively to address this concern for the community.
