Carla Lockhart MP Congratulates Organisers of the 11th July Family Fun-days

Carla Lockhart, Member of Parliament for Upper Bann has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the organisers of the 11th July family fun-days, which brought joy and celebration to communities across the area. The annual event was marked by a series of fantastic fun days in Edgarstown, Mourneview, Killicomaine, and Derrycarne, creating an atmosphere of excitement and community spirit.

"11th July wouldn’t be the 11th without fun days galore" said Lockhart. "Congratulations to all the organisers of fantastic fun days across the area."

The family fun-days featured a variety of activities and attractions, including bouncy castles, animals to pet, ice cream, good food, music, and more. "Great to get our kids involved in celebrating our culture," Lockhart remarked, emphasising the importance of community events in fostering a sense of heritage and togetherness.


Lockhart expressed her gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the event organisers, who ensured that the celebrations were a resounding success. "These events are a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a day of fun and festivities, celebrating our rich culture and traditions," she added.



I was delighted to attend them alongside my wee boy, Charlie who certainly enjoyed the festivities.
