Support Sessions for Local Veterans

Carla Lockhart, Member of Parliament for Upper Bann, is pleased to announce that she will be hosting Help for Heroes at her offices later this week and in September.  Help for Heroes Welfare Officer, Ben Higginson, will run support sessions on Friday 16th August in Lurgan and Portadown and on the 13th September in Banbridge. These sessions are designed to assist local veterans with any benefits and welfare queries they may have.

Given the anticipated demand, Carla Lockhart MP is encouraging veterans to book their 15-minute slots as soon as possible. Additional sessions may be made available, based on demand, ensuring that all veterans in need of assistance can access this service. 


Timings for Friday 16th August:


  • Lurgan (31-33 Queen St.): 10:30 AM -11:30 AM
  • Portadown (Office 5 Datos Business Park, Armagh Road, Portadown): 12PM-1:30 PM

Timings for Friday 13th September:


  • Banbridge (27 Bridge St): 12PM-1.30PM
