MP shows support for Macmillan fundraiser

Carla Lockhart MP • October 10, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has paid tribute to the Spratt family in Banbridge, following another very successful Macmillan Coffee Morning at their home last week.

Speaking after attending, the DUP representative said:

“Macmillan do fantastic work to support those living with cancer.

I was therefore delighted to join with the Spratt family in Banbridge as they hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning, at their home last week. This coffee morning has been ongoing for 23 years – a remarkable feat, and very much a reflection of the charitable spirit that shines through from Jean, Philip and the kids.

Over the years the Spratt family has raised thousands of pounds for Macmillan and that support is invaluable to the work of the charity. I know that right across Upper Bann many other organisations and individuals hosted Macmillan coffee mornings as part of the national campaign. That so many were hosted shows the charitable heart that runs through this community.

My thanks to the Spratt family, and all Macmillan fundraisers, and all those who attended and supported these events.”
