Lockhart to host Sports Funding Workshop

Carla Lockhart MP • March 7, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has invited local sporting clubs and organisations to attend an online Funding Workshop, scheduled for Monday 13th March at 7.30pm. The event will be hosted on Zoom, and will include expert advice from local funding consultant Richard Forsythe.

Carla Lockhart said:

“Across Upper Bann we have a wealth of sporting clubs and organisations who do us all proud in the various sports they are involved in. So many of these clubs are run entirely by volunteers, and it requires significant sums of money to keep the clubs running.

With this in mind, I have organised a funding workshop with a local sports funding consultant, Richard Forsythe. Richard has a depth of knowledge and experience in identifying funding opportunities, and also completing successful applications. I know the information Richard will share on Monday evening will be a huge benefit to all those in attendance.

You can register to attend by emailing my office carlalockhartmp.office@parliament.uk or via phone on 028 38310088. It would be fantastic to see a good representation from our local sporting community, and everyone is welcome to attend.”
