Lockhart marks four years as Member of Parliament

MP Carla Lockhart has thanked the public for their ongoing support, as she marked four years as Member of Parliament for Upper Bann.

Carla Lockhart said:

 

“As I mark four years as the Member of Parliament for Upper Bann, I am humbled and immensely grateful for the trust and support given to me by the incredible people of this constituency. Serving you has been an honour, and I am dedicated to continuing my representation for the people with unwavering commitment.

 

Throughout these four years, I've witnessed the power of our community coming together in so many ways, whilst also having that collective desire to make this place better for everyone. It is my pleasure to work alongside so many wonderful people, and I thank each and every one of you for your active role in this collective effort to improve things in Upper Bann.

 

I am acutely aware of the challenges we face and the responsibility that comes with this role. Moving forward, I am steadfast in my commitment to working tirelessly for Upper Bann, advocating for your needs, and championing the causes close to our hearts. Effective representation remains my priority, ensuring your voices are strongly heard in Westminster.

 

I pledge to continue being a dedicated advocate, striving for progress and prosperity for every individual, family, and community within Upper Bann. That is my goal, and I will continue to work towards this.”
