Banbridge Orange ‘Big Breakfast’ a real success

Carla Lockhart MP • January 17, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart joined with well over 200 other attendees at a fantastic ‘Big Breakfast’ event, hosted by Banbridge District Orange Lodge on Saturday.

Commenting after the event, Carla said:

“This was a fantastic community event, and my congratulations and thanks going to District Master Stuart Magill and all those involved in putting on such a great spread of food for those attending.

To have served over 200 breakfast shows the level of support from within the local community for the Lodge’s efforts. To serve up that number of breakfasts is a huge amount of work so a big ‘well done’ to everyone who was working away behind the scenes in the kitchen, and those helping to serve up a good hearty Ulster breakfast. The food was delicious.

The Orange family continue to do so much good work in our community and it was great to have this time together to mark recent achievements, whilst also fundraising for the future. I wish the Brethren well for 2023.”
