Young entrepreneur congratulated on starting engineering firm

Carla Lockhart MP • November 1, 2022

Local Member of Parliament Carla Lockhart and Lagan River representative Alderman Mark Baxter have extended their best wishes to 23-year-old Jack Cairns from Portadown, who has launched his own business in Donacloney. Tera Group Ltd makes digger buckets and provides a range of other engineering services.

Speaking on a visit to the firm, Carla Lockhart said:

“Entrepreneurs are essential to the economic wellbeing of any community. It is fantastic to meet with Jack today, who at 23 is setting out on his own businesses journey.

Jack’s enthusiasm for his company will no doubt drive its success. Tera Group Ltd offer a range of digger buckets and other engineering services and it is great that he has chosen Donacloney as their preferred place to set up business. I would urge the local community to avail of the services here and support Jack in this venture.”

Alderman Mark Baxter added:

“It takes guts to set up a business on your own, and I commend Jack for taking this step. He is a great example to other young people of what can be achieved with determination and drive to succeed.

I wish Jack well and trust that Tera Group Ltd will go from strength to strength.”
