Policing community thanked for service
Carla Lockhart, Member of Parliament for Upper Bann, took time recently to attend the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) and PSNI Carol Service in Waringstown, and paid tribute to the police family for their service.

The DUP MP said:
“The invaluable contribution of our policing community in protecting communities all year round is something that we should all be grateful for. Indeed during the festive season the PSNI will still be working away, keeping us safe.
During the visit to the service I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Church Warden Winston, a proud former member of the RUC. We must always remember the courage exhibited by the RUC throughout challenging times, acknowledging their sacrifices and highlighting their significant role in safeguarding the community.
Many of us have a deep sense of pride in the RUC, and we think of those RUC and PSNI families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. This sacrifice must never be forgotten.
I thank all those involved in organising this poignant and very moving service.”
