Planning consent for Scarva playpark a big step forward

Carla Lockhart MP • February 14, 2022

Carla Lockhart MP has said the granting of planning permission for a new state of the art playpark in Scarva is a significant step forward in making the plan a reality for local children.

The DUP MP said:

“This is fantastic news for the children of Scarva, who will love their new play park when it becomes a reality.

Getting to this point has taken some time and a lot of work. I want to thank my colleagues on Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Council, Cllr. Paul Greenfield and Cllr. Ian Wilson, for their endeavours in this regard. I know both Paul and Ian have championed this scheme from the very start and I appreciate their help in this regard.

We now have planning permission secured for the new play park and the Council can progress to tender.

This is a long overdue investment. I want to see the very best play facilities for all local children in their locality and this wonderful proposal will wnsure the very best for the kids in Scarva and the surrounding area.”
