MP enjoys ‘Big Breakfast’ events

DUP MP for Upper Bann Carla Lockhart joined local lodges at Battlehill LOL 395 and Kingshill LOL 319 at their big breakfast events on Saturday.

Speaking after joining patrons at both events, Carla Lockhart said:

“I was delighted to get along to support both Battlehill LOL 395 and Kingshill LOL 319 on Saturday as they both hosted ‘Big Breakfast’ fundraisers.

These events are a great way to bring people together for a bit of chat over a good hearty Ulster Fry. A great way to start the weekend for sure!

The Orange Institution is a tremendous force for good in our community and at a time when more and more people are experiencing loneliness and isolation, the Order does fantastic work in offering social opportunities for people in their local area. It was great to see so many avail of the opportunity provided on Saturday by Battlehill LOL 395 and Kingshill LOL 319.

I commend both lodges, and the volunteers who did all the work to make these events successful, and for extending to me and all those in attendance such a warm welcome.”
