Lockhart Supports Banbridge Free Presbyterian Coffee Morning

Carla Lockhart MP • November 5, 2025

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart joined with members of Banbridge Free Presbyterian Church and the wider community at a Coffee Morning on Saturday, organised by Mrs June McComb.

Speaking after attending, Carla Lockhart MP said:

“This is an annual event now, and it is always very enjoyable to meet with friends here at Banbridge Free Presbyterian and indeed the wider community.

I am delighted that so many have turned out to support this fundraiser. Mrs June McComb and her band of helpers put so much work into this charity effort, with a fantastic array of baked treats and beautiful handmade Christmas cards available to purchase.

It was particularly lovely to see June back organising the event after a recent period of ill health. Her commitment and determination to continue raising funds for missionary work in Uganda is truly inspirational.

It was also a pleasure to meet with our well known missionary Noreen McAfee, who was visiting from Uganda and shared an update on the important work being supported through these efforts.

I have no doubt a good sum has been raised, and I want to pass on my thanks to June, her team, and everyone involved for their hard work and the warm welcome extended to all who attended.”
