Lockhart Praises Annaghmore Crown Defenders After Successful Community Breakfast

Carla Lockhart MP • February 25, 2026

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has praised Annaghmore Crown Defenders Flute Band following a hugely successful community breakfast event.

Carla Lockhart MP said:

“It was great to join Annaghmore Crown Defenders Flute Band this morning as they hosted a mighty big breakfast for the local community.

The hall was absolutely bunged to the rafters, which was a brilliant show of support. The food was first class, the crack was even better, and a fantastic amount was raised towards their new uniforms.

This is a great wee band with a big heart, and it was clear to see the effort and dedication that went into organising such a successful event.

Everyone knows my passion for our bands and the vital role they play in preserving and promoting our culture and heritage. They are at the heart of so many of our communities.

Well done to all the members who put their heart and soul into it. It is always a pleasure to support our bands.”
