Carla Lockhart MP • September 4, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has spoken of her delight at cutting the ribbon at a new florists, based in Legahory Shopping Centre. ‘Flowers with Love’ is owned by Jekaterina Lazutaite, and offers a vast array of floral arrangements to customers.

Speaking after officiating at the opening, the DUP MP said:

“This exciting new business, ‘Flowers with Love’ is the realisation of a lifelong dream by Jekaterina and I am absolutely delighted to have had the honour to officially cut the ribbon on her beautiful new premises here at Legahory Shopping Centre.

Jekaterina has been working and living in Northern Ireland for almost 20 years and has very much made this place her home. Jekaterina’s enthusiasm and love of flowers alongside the Prince’s Trust’s incredible award winning business mentor volunteer - in this case none other than the fantastic Lyle English - made this dream happen.

I would encourage any young person considering a career path in business to reach out to the Prince’s Trust here in Northern Ireland, who will offer fantastic mentorship ensuring the venture is done to the very best standard with the best opportunity to succeed. I am more than happy to signpost anyone interested, so If you would like information on those financial and practical support schemes get in touch.

Finally, I would wish Jekaterina well with ‘Flowers with Love’ and encourage the community to get behind this business.”
