Lockhart congratulates Craigavon Senior High on rugby glory

Carla Lockhart MP • March 28, 2023

Local MP Carla Lockhart has extended her warmest congratulations to the players and coaches of the Craigavon Senior High U16 team, who won the High Schools' Trophy at the Kingspan Stadium last week.

The DUP MP said:

“This is a fantastic achievement for the team and I want to say very well done to the players and their coaching team on doing the school and wider community proud.

By beating Ballymoney High School 30-0 they have displayed the talent within this team, as well as the potential that is within the squad. I trust that future careers in rugby are being carved out amongst the team.

We are in a rich vein of form locally with schools cup sporting success and it is a credit to the efforts of the pupils and the school staff who give up time to coach that we are witnessing these marvellous victories.”
