DUP MP for Upper Bann Carla Lockhart has welcomed the commencement of works to deliver the resurfacing of Hunters Hill Road, Gilford.DUP MP for Upper Bann Carla Lockhart has welcomed the commencement of works to deliver the resurfacing of Hunters Hill Road, Gilford.

The local Member of Parliament said:

“This scheme has been a long time coming, but I am delighted that we now have works underway to see the resurfacing of Hunters Hill Road, between Glass Moss Road and Clare Road.

Some drainage works had to be completed prior to resurfacing, which held up this element of the works being completed. However we now have the team on site who will complete resurfacing and the vast improvement of the road here.

Some disruption is always likely with schemes such as this, and I would also say that anyone with any queries in relation to the scheme should contact my office and we can furnish you with relevant information.

So many roads across the area need similar schemes, and constituents should be assured I remain in ongoing engagement with the Department for Infrastructure on other resurfacing needs in the area.”
