Growing Success of Monthly Advice Clinics in Banbridge & Loughgall

Carla Lockhart MP • March 12, 2025

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has hailed the success of her latest monthly advice clinics in Banbridge and Loughgall, with demand continuing to grow. Held on the first Friday of every month, these clinics have become a vital point of contact for local residents needing assistance on a wide range of issues. ๏ปฟ

Speaking after the most recent sessions on Friday past, Carla Lockhart MP said:

"I am absolutely delighted with the increasing response to my monthly advice clinics in Banbridge and Loughgall. Each month, more and more people are coming forward to seek support, and I was pleased to assist so many constituents again on Friday. Over the past three clinics—including our Donaghcloney pop-up surgery two weeks ago—more than 40 people have sought assistance, which just reinforces the need for these regular sessions.

"Housing, welfare, roads and community issues were also high on the agenda, and I am committed to ensuring the voices of local people are heard and acted upon.

"I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has attended these clinics over recent months. It is encouraging to see more people making use of this service, and I will continue to be as accessible as possible for those who need assistance."

A special mention also goes to my dear friend Maggie Murray from Huntly, who took the time to surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday. Maggie is a great friend, and it is always a pleasure to help her and so many others through these clinics.
