Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has praised all those who helped organise and participated in the Banbridge Performing Arts Festival Speech and Drama event last week.
Speaking after attending the Festival, Carla Lockhart said:
“This is a wonderful showcase of local talent in speech and drama. It was so inspiring to see and hear the young people taking part today.
This Festival offers a platform for showcasing the array of talent we have in this area. Of course it would not happen without the hard work and dedication of those behind it. Both Pat and Frank Mulligan have been at the heart of this event for so many years and its ongoing success is a credit to them, and indeed all the volunteers who help make the event the unique and special event it is.
A sincere well done to all participants, and for extending such a warm welcome to all of us who were privileged to attend.”
