MP shows support for Ugandan mission

Carla Lockhart MP • November 9, 2022

DUP MP Carla Lockhart has joined with members of Banbridge Free Presbyterian Church to show support for missionary work in Uganda. The local Member of Parliament attended a fundraising coffee morning and handmade card sale on Saturday morning.

Speaking after the event, Carla Lockhart said:

“It was lovely to catch up with friends at Banbridge Free Presbyterian Church on Saturday. It was great to see so many members of the church family and wider community come together to enjoy the wonderful baking and to purchase the beautiful hand made cards, all in support of missionary work in Uganda.

All this would not have happened without the work and dedication of Mrs June McCombe. June is a great supporter of this missionary work, with a real heart for Uganda.

My thanks go to June and her band of helpers for all the work they have done to put on such an enjoyable and successful fundraiser. I know a healthy sum was raised that will make a real difference to the lives of those in need in Uganda.”
