MP hits the streets again in 2024

Carla Lockhart MP • January 9, 2024

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has thanked those who engaged with her on the doorsteps of Donaghcloney, Gibson’s Hill and Blackskull as she hit the doors at the start of 2024.

The DUP MP said:

“This is my 16th year in politics and I have always enjoyed getting out and about into the community, and onto the doorsteps to talk with constituents about the issues they are facing and what they want from their public representatives.

It was certainly a very enjoyable day spent around Donaghcloney, Gibson’s Hill and Blackskull. I am so grateful to those who came to the door or approached me in the street for a chat, for their open engagement and feedback. It is vital as an elected representative to be on the ground and listening, and certainly it was a very productive day in these areas because of the open and honest conversations had.

I will be out and about in other areas in the coming days and weeks so please keep an eye out for me, and please come across and say hello. I am committed to being accessible to my constituents and I trust this leads to better delivery for Upper Bann.”
