Carla Lockhart MP • September 12, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has said planning approval being granted for a new Tim Horton’s site in Lurgan will see a wider choice for local consumers in the area, and provide a boost to local employment.

The DUP MP said:

“I am delighted that Tim Horton’s have secured planning permission for a new site in Lurgan. I have been working with the applicants throughout the process, and it is fantastic to get the approval to now move ahead with construction.

Tim Horton’s in a world leading brand and it is a boost for Lurgan that they see the town as a site to do business. Their presence will offer local consumers greater choice, as well as offering local people employment. This is a good news story for the town and wider area.

The site beside Home Bargains will also see further regeneration of that area of the town which is most welcome. There are exciting developments around Lurgan and I will continue to do what I can to attract more investment.”
