Lockhart Praises Community Support at Ballytyrone Orange Hall Breakfast

Carla Lockhart MP • April 29, 2026

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has praised the tremendous community spirit on display at Ballytyrone Orange Hall after attending its hugely successful Bellybuster Fry fundraiser.

Speaking afterwards, Carla Lockhart MP said:

“It was wonderful to call in to Ballytyrone Orange Hall and see the hall absolutely packed with people supporting the lodge. The demand was so strong they had to go for more food, always a sign of a successful morning.

“Ballytyrone Orange Hall has endured much through sectarian attack over the years, yet it continues to stand strong and goes from strength to strength. That resilience says so much about the people behind it.

“Community events like this are about much more than breakfast. They strengthen local ties, support valued institutions and celebrate a heritage that continues to thrive. Well done to all those from Ballytyrone LOL and beyond who helped make this a success.”
