Lockhart Congratulates Harold Henning on Election as Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland
Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has congratulated Harold Henning following his election as the new Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, describing the appointment as a significant moment for the Institution and a fitting recognition of long standing commitment and service.

Ms Lockhart also paid warm tribute to outgoing Grand Master Edward Stevenson, acknowledging his years of faithful leadership and the positive legacy he leaves behind.
Speaking following the election, Carla Lockhart MP said:
“I was delighted to congratulate my good friend Harold Henning on his election as the new Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland. This is an incredible and well deserved appointment for someone who has faithfully served the Institution for many years. Harold brings with him a deep understanding of the values, traditions and responsibilities of the role, and I know he will lead with integrity and commitment.
“I also want to place on record my heartfelt thanks to Edward Stevenson for his faithful, dedicated and unwavering leadership since 2011. His service has left a lasting impact on the Institution, and his contribution will be remembered with deep appreciation.
“I wish both Harold and Edward every blessing for the days ahead.”
Ms Lockhart said the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland continues to play an important role in community life, cultural heritage and charitable activity across Northern Ireland, and she looks forward to engaging constructively with the Institution under its new leadership.
