Lidl plan for new Craigavon store welcomed by MP
Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has said the announcement by Lidl of plans for a new store at Craigavon is a welcome boost for the local economy and for consumers.

The DUP representative said:
“Lidl continues to be extremely popular with local consumers and their ongoing growth in Northern Ireland is evidence of the stores appeal to consumers.
I am delighted that my constituents will, subject to planning, soon be able to benefit from a new Lidl store at Craigavon. This will build upon the existing store network in the Upper Bann constituency, but offer store users a larger, more modern store at the Craigavon site. This will be welcome news for those shoppers who frequent Lidl.
A public consultation will be held on the plans in Craigavon on Monday April 8 from 3pm to 6pm. I would urge the community to go along and see what’s planned.
I commend Lidl for their ongoing commitment to this area, evidenced by this investment, and trust that planning will be secured soon to allow this ambitious plan to become a reality.”
