Improvements on the way at Portadown Health Centre

Carla Lockhart MP • August 22, 2023

DUP MP Carla Lockhart has welcomed confirmation from the management of Portadown Health Centre that some building improvements are due to commence in the next few weeks, with a four month works programme scheduled to be completed.

The Upper Bann representative said:

“Over some time, I have been contacted by a number of constituents regarding the condition of Portadown Health Centre. As we all know, the centre is used by a large number of people, and is extremely busy with service users.

A number of suggested improvements were brought forward by service users, and I engaged with the management of the Centre to see what could be delivered in response to these positive suggestions. I am pleased that the management were only too willing to engage, and this has led to the confirmation that works will commence very soon.

We will see contractors on site in the next couple of weeks, and works will continue for the next four months. The outcome will be a facility that is much improved, for the benefit of everyone who uses the centre.

I want to thank the management of Portadown Health Centre for taking these works forward, and look forward to the completion in due course.”
