Carla Lockhart Applauds Community Spirit at Annual Orange Cup in Banbridge

Carla Lockhart, candidate for Upper Bann in the upcoming general election, expressed her admiration for the vibrant community spirit showcased at the Annual Orange Cup held at Cheaney Park, Banbridge. The event saw over 16 teams fiercely competing for the top award in an atmosphere filled with determination and sportsmanship.

The tournament featured representation of Loyal Orange Lodges and Bands from various areas, including Annalong, Kilkeel, Rathfriland, Newry, Bessbrook, Castlewellan, Dromore, Scarva, Gilford, Portadown, and Banbridge. Each team displayed exceptional talent and dedication, making the event a resounding success.


Carla Lockhart had the honour of presenting the juniors trophy, acknowledging the hard work and enthusiasm of the young participants. Additionally, she supported the event through sponsorship, reinforcing her commitment to fostering community engagement and supporting local initiatives.
